Scope and controller

Prolumi Interactive is responsible for the personal information it processes in connection with this website, its communications and its own products. Our contact address for privacy matters is info@prolumiinteractive.com.

This policy applies to European Truck Manager (game), Prolumi: Project Room (project management software) and other Prolumi Interactive products unless a separate product-specific notice applies.

02 / PRODUCTS

European Truck Manager and Prolumi: Project Room

European Truck Manager

European Truck Manager is a game. Its core gameplay does not require a separate Prolumi Interactive account. Game progress and settings may be stored on the player's device. When distributed through a third-party store, store-related account, licensing, purchase, achievement and diagnostic data may be handled by the platform provider.

Prolumi: Project Room

Prolumi: Project Room is desktop project management software. Depending on how you use it, projects and documents may contain names, contact details, financial information, working-time records and other information you enter. You are responsible for deciding what information to enter and for using the software in accordance with applicable privacy obligations. Data stored locally on your device remains under your device's access and backup controls unless a feature or third-party service explicitly transfers it elsewhere.

We will update this notice if either product introduces features that change how personal information is collected, transmitted or processed by Prolumi Interactive.

03 / INFORMATION

Information we may receive

  • Your name, email address and message contents when you contact us for support or general enquiries.
  • Technical details, logs or screenshots that you choose to send to us when requesting assistance. These may include information visible in the files you provide.
  • Basic website hosting and security logs, potentially including IP address, access time and requested page.
  • Information needed to fulfil legal obligations or handle disputes, where applicable.

We do not ask you to send passwords, payment card details or sensitive project documents in ordinary support messages.

04 / PROCESSING

Purposes and legal bases

We process information as necessary to respond to messages, provide product support, maintain website security, investigate technical issues, comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests.

Where the GDPR applies, the relevant legal basis may be performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, a legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent where specifically requested. The applicable basis depends on the processing activity.

05 / PLATFORMS

Third-party services and sharing

Our products may be distributed through Microsoft Store, Steam or other third-party marketplaces. These services may independently process purchases, accounts, licensing, device data, diagnostics or achievements under their own privacy policies. Their processing is not necessarily controlled by Prolumi Interactive.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers such as website hosting or email providers where necessary to operate our services, or with authorities where required by law. Where international transfers under our responsibility occur, applicable safeguards are used.

06 / SECURITY

Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for its purpose, including support, security and applicable legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, although no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Local files and backups created in Project Room may be retained on your own device or storage services until you remove them. Their retention also depends on your own backup and storage arrangements.

07 / RIGHTS

Your data protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, data portability or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

Contact info@prolumiinteractive.com for privacy requests. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, including the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

If information is stored only in files on your device and has not been provided to us, Prolumi Interactive may not have access to that information. You can manage it using the software and your device's file management tools.

08 / WEBSITE

Our website may use essential technologies needed for operation and security. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are introduced, our cookie information will be updated and consent obtained where required. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services in circumstances requiring parental consent without addressing the relevant legal requirements.
